The Tourist Board of Neum<\/strong> hereby informs renters and accommodation service providers that guest check-in and check-out in the area of Herzegovina-Neretva County is mandatory exclusively through the prijava.ba<\/strong> information system.<\/p>

Legal Framework<\/strong><\/p>

In accordance with the applicable legal framework, and upon the proposal of the competent ministry, the Government of Herzegovina-Neretva County adopted the Regulation on Tourist Tax in HNC (\u201cOfficial Gazette of HNC\u201d, No. 7\/25), while the Minister adopted the Rulebook on the Procedure for Tourist Check-In and Check-Out, Keeping Records of Tourist Stays and Paid Tourist Tax (\u201cOfficial Gazette of HNC\u201d, No. 11\/25).<\/p>

This Rulebook establishes a fully digitalized system, eliminating the need for paper documentation and in-person visits to tourist boards.<\/p>

Digital Guest Registration System<\/strong><\/p>

The prijava.ba<\/strong> system is available to users continuously, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and enables timely and accurate guest check-in and check-out.<\/p>

All data on tourist stays is kept centrally within the application, ensuring complete and reliable statistics on tourist traffic, including persons who are exempt from paying tourist tax or are entitled to a reduced amount.<\/p>

Advantages of Digitalization<\/strong><\/p>

Accommodation facilities issue confirmations of check-in and check-out directly through the system, significantly reducing the time required to fulfil legal obligations and additionally contributing to legal certainty and tourist protection.<\/p>

The system also enables the electronic submission of monthly reports on collected and paid tourist tax, as well as annual reports for flat-rate taxpayers, greatly reducing the administrative burden.<\/p>

Obligations of Accommodation Providers<\/strong><\/p>

All accommodation service providers are obliged to record all persons staying in the facility, regardless of whether they are subject to tourist tax payment or exempt from it, thereby ensuring a complete overview of tourist traffic.<\/p>

Guest check-in and check-out is mandatory for all renters, including those who pay tourist tax in a flat-rate amount, as well as those who calculate and charge it per overnight stay.<\/p>

For foreign guests, the obligation to keep the Register of Foreigners and to register them through the eStranac<\/strong> system remains in force, in accordance with applicable regulations.<\/p>

How to Obtain Access to the System<\/strong><\/p>

To access the prijava.ba<\/strong> system, i.e. to obtain user credentials \u2014 username and password \u2014 it is necessary to contact the competent County Tourist Board via the following e-mail address:<\/p>
