The Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Environmental Protection of Herzegovina-Neretva County has completed the procedure for selecting a manufacturer of standardized plates used to indicate the type and category of hospitality facilities in the HNC area.
Following the public call, approval for the production of standardized plates was granted to the business entity Print Center “Green” from Mostar, enabling hospitality providers to obtain the prescribed plates directly from an authorized manufacturer.
All hospitality providers are required to obtain a standardized plate after receiving a decision determining the minimum requirements for the type and the requirements for the category of the hospitality facility, issued by the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Environmental Protection of HNC or the competent body of the local self-government unit.
This obligation applies to accommodation facilities marked with two or three stars, as well as to food service facilities marked with a silver or bronze chef’s hat.
Hospitality providers order the plate directly from the authorized manufacturer and bear the costs of production, delivery and installation themselves. A copy of the issued decision showing the type and category of the hospitality facility must be attached to the request.

According to the information provided, the prices for the production of standardized plates are as follows:
- for hospitality facilities from the group “Campsites and Other Types of Hospitality Accommodation Facilities”, dimensions 40 x 40 cm: BAM 300.00 including VAT;
- for hospitality facilities from the “Hotels” group, dimensions 40 x 40 cm: BAM 300.00 including VAT;
- for hospitality facilities providing hospitality services in households, dimensions 30 x 30 cm: BAM 260.00 including VAT;
- for food service facilities of the “Restaurant” type, marked with a silver or bronze chef’s hat, dimensions 25 x 25 cm: BAM 200.00 including VAT.
The Ministry notes that it does not participate in contracting, payment, production, delivery or installation of the plates, and that the entire procedure is arranged directly between the hospitality provider and the authorized manufacturer.
